HVAC Maintenance
Serving Salt Lake City, Taylorsville, and more.
Maintenance that helps you understand your system before it becomes an emergency.
HVAC maintenance should not feel like a trick. You should not schedule a cheap tune-up and end up feeling pressured, confused, or surprised by a long list of repairs you were not expecting.
At Huish Heating and Air Conditioning, our maintenance approach is simple. We check the system, do light cleaning, look for issues before they become bigger problems, and help you understand the condition of your equipment.
We are a family-run residential HVAC company, and we believe maintenance is about trust, long-term relationship, and peace of mind.

How we help
Heating and cooling systems can run for years without much attention, but that does not mean they should be ignored. Dust builds up, filters get dirty, parts wear down, refrigerant issues can develop, and small problems can become expensive if nobody is looking. Maintenance gives your system regular care and gives you a clearer picture of what is happening before the hottest or coldest days of the year.
Check
We evaluate the system, check key components, look at airflow, inspect filters, and make sure the equipment is operating the way it should.
Clean
We do light seasonal cleaning, including AC cleaning in the spring and furnace cleaning in the colder season.
Explain
We tell you what we find in plain language, without turning every maintenance visit into a sales pitch.
Our HVAC maintenance services
AC maintenance
In the cooling season, we check the air conditioner, do light cleaning, inspect key components, look at refrigerant performance, inspect airflow and filters, and watch for signs that the system may struggle in the heat.
Furnace maintenance
In the heating season, we vacuum out the furnace, do light cleaning, check key components like the flame sensor, igniter, circuit board, flue condition, and clearance, look at airflow, and make sure the system is operating safely and reliably.
Filter replacement
Filters matter. A dirty or restrictive filter can affect airflow, comfort, efficiency, and equipment performance. Comfort Agreement customers receive filters for the year as part of the plan.
System evaluation
Some systems need more than a normal maintenance visit. If deeper cleaning, repairs, airflow changes, safety corrections, or filter setup changes are needed first, we will explain that clearly before moving forward.
Comfort Agreement
It currently includes two site visits per year, filters for the year, 10% off service, and 5% off installation.
The Comfort Agreement is not just about the price of a tune-up. It is about the value of the relationship. We get to know the home, the system, the history, and the small details that matter over time.
Systems do need to qualify for the Comfort Agreement. If the system has existing problems, safety concerns, airflow issues, heavy buildup, or needed repairs, those may need to be resolved before the plan can begin. Any work needed to get the system ready would be explained clearly and quoted separately.
